JRCERT mission statement.

The process of accreditation is a formalized review that assures that the College and individual programs meet stringent national standards of excellence. Individual program accreditation also ensures a quality curriculum that enables graduates to qualify for applicable certification examinations and/or licensures.

Students who successfully complete MTC’s Radiography Program are eligible to take the National Registry Examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). This is a multiple-choice situational exam administered via computer. Successful examination results allow individuals to use the R.T. (Registered Technologist) credential, as well as pursue advanced employment opportunities. Periodic renewal of this credential is required.

The ARRT Board reserves the right to deny admission to the ARRT examination if an individual has been convicted of a crime, including a felony, gross misdemeanor, misdemeanor, or drug-related arrest.
