Schedule a Tutor

We are so glad you are ready to schedule a 1:1 appointment with an MTC tutor! Make sure you understand the following requirements prior to scheduling:

  • You are expected to actively participate in the tutoring session.
  • You should come prepared with questions, notes, or assignments to work on.
  • Tutors cannot complete graded assignments or provide answers to graded problems or questions.
  • Tutoring does not replace attending class.
  • If you cannot attend an appointment, you will cancel it in Accudemia or notify your tutor as early as possible so another student can use the time. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may be recorded as a missed appointment. Repeated missed or late-cancelled appointments may limit my ability to schedule future sessions.
  • To ensure fair access for all students, the number and frequency of tutoring appointments you can schedule during the week may be limited.
  • You will engage respectfully with tutors and follow the MTC Student Code of Conduct and MTC policies related to tutoring and learning support services.
  • Tutoring sessions are intended to support learning. You understand that a tutor may end a session if these expectations or academic integrity policies are not followed.
