Student Life

Student Organizations

From intramural sports to student clubs and organizations to special campus events, there’s something for everyone at MTC!  Getting involved in these activities is a great way to meet new people and make friends, network, enhance your knowledge and skills for your resume, stay healthy, have fun, and be a well-rounded student.

Marion Campus Recreation, Health, and Wellness

Staying active helps you stay productive and successful. In the Alber Student Center, our students have access to a fitness center with treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, ellipticals, and free weights; an indoor rock-climbing wall; and an open gym (basketball, badminton). In the multi-purpose room, you can take part in yoga, pound, or meditation/relaxation classes.  There is also a game room with pool tables, video games, ping pong, and air hockey, and we have a variety of intramural and club sports. This is all FREE!

We also sponsor an annual campus wellness fair, quarterly health checks, and individual fitness programs.

For more information, contact the Office of Student Activities & Recreation in the Alber Student Center at 740-725-6206 or email Program Coordinator, Erin Slater, at slater.159@osum.edu.
