Dear MTC Students and Visitors,

Welcome to Marion Technical College!

Whether you are just visiting, decided to attend MTC to update your skills, want to earn a degree, or plan to prepare for transfer to a four-year institution, we are glad you are here!

The research is clear - higher education is key for better economic opportunities. Enrolling at MTC is an important first step to a deeper knowledge and achieving your dreams. Earning a degree puts you on a road that can expand your horizons – and give you and your family a better future for generations.

MTC provides high-quality programs, excellent instructors, and caring staff who are all ready to help you achieve your educational goals. With small classes, our experienced professors know your name and your career path. Whether you are a high school student starting college classes, an employee seeking to add skills to your resume, or an adult student with a family, we offer support and quality instruction in a comfortable, hands-on learning environment.

An integral part of our approach is real-world experience. Our students value MTC’s internships and co-ops providing direct workplace experience and connections to area business leaders. These factors lead to employment - 97% of MTC graduates are working the year after graduation.

About 60% of our students continue their education after leaving MTC. These students take advantage of more than 25 transfer programs and dozens of transfer courses. These quality courses are guaranteed to transfer to any of Ohio’s 61 public colleges, regional branch campuses, and universities. By completing the first two or even three years of a bachelor’s degree at MTC, you can save $13,000 – or more!

I encourage you to contact our admissions office or faculty members to find out how MTC can put you on the road to success. We are ready to support you along your journey to a better future and provide the resources to help you achieve your goals.

My hope is that you will be successful in all of your educational endeavors and I wish you the best of luck.

Respectfully,

Dr. Ryan McCall,
President of Marion Technical College
