Biography

My name is Caitlin Stansbery, the new director for the Medical Laboratory Technologies programs at Marion Technical College. I have been working in a clinical laboratory for nine years. I received my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Marquette University in 2010 and a Master’s of Science in Forensic Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2017. I have experience in the clinical laboratory in Illinois, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Ohio. I have worked at 500-bed hospitals, satellite emergency departments, and everything in between. Previously to coming to MTC, I was a medical laboratory scientist for Mercy Health. While with Mercy, I was a certified instructor of NAPPI (Non-Abusive Physical and Psychological Intervention).
