Barb Scott, M.B.A.
Biography
Barb Scott obtained her Associate of Business Administration at MTC, and her Bachelor's and Master's of Business Administration at Franklin University. She previously served on the Marion Technical College Business Advisory Board and was honored to be inducted into the MTC Alumni Hall of Fame in 2016. She volunteers as the Food Bank Coordinator for her church and is a proud supporter of For the Children in Marion, a nonprofit that promotes healing for child victims of abuse and neglect.
Barb has 30 years in business, as Director, Experience Assurance, supporting the Vice President of the National Contact Center team. She and her Project Managers across the country developed curriculum and instituted training plans supporting 5,000 employees and vendor support teams. Her last two years were spent implementing a chatbot and other AI tools for internal use as well as external customer support. After leaving Frontier and moving back to Marion, she self-contracted with local small businesses as an Organizational Wellness Consultant. Barb also enjoys teaching for MTC at both North Central and Marion Correctional Institutions.
