Amy Adams, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Amy Adams joined MTC in 2016 and oversees the offices of academic affairs, admission, career services, financial aid, institutional advancement, marketing and communications, student records, student success and engagement, and workforce solutions. In addition, Dr. Adams provides oversight for the implementation and management of Marion Technical College’s first-ever Title III grant to strengthen completion rates for underserved students ($2.2M for five years).

Previously, Amy spent 16 years at a private university in Columbus, Ohio, in various roles including university registrar, director of institutional research and assessment, and associate vice president for enrollment. Amy earned her Ph.D. in higher education from Ohio University, an M.Ed. Degree from Northern Arizona University, and a B.S. from The Ohio State University.
