Marion Technical College Only Ohio Community College Selected as Finalist for Bellwether Award

Marion Technical College has been named a national finalist for the prestigious 2026 Bellwether Awards.
“This recognition places Marion Technical College among the most innovative community colleges in the nation,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Technical College. “Being the only Ohio community college named a finalist speaks to the forward-thinking work of our faculty, staff, and partners, and to our commitment to serving students and the region with excellence.”

From a record 114 applications from colleges around the country, Marion Technical College was one of just 10 finalists chosen in the Planning, Governance, and Finance category, which recognizes cutting-edge approaches to institutional leadership, management, and resource optimization.
