Blossom Solar Establishes Endowed Scholarship for Engineering Technology Students at MTC
Blossom Solar established an endowed scholarship at Marion Technical College to support students pursuing careers in engineering technology and sustainable energy.
The new scholarship will provide financial assistance to students enrolled in Marion Tech’s Engineering Technology program who are in good academic standing, have demonstrated financial need, and have expressed an interest in alternative energy.
The endowed scholarship reflects Blossom Solar’s commitment to developing the next generation of skilled professionals who will help advance innovative and sustainable energy solutions. The gift will help remove financial barriers for students while encouraging innovation in a field that continues to experience strong demand.
“We are grateful to Blossom Solar for this generous investment in our students and our community,” said Mike Stuckey, director of the Marion Technical College Foundation. “This endowed scholarship will provide long-term support for Engineering Technology students who are passionate about alternative energy and committed to academic success.”
“This is a fantastic investment in our future,” said Ray Hughes, associate dean of STEM at Marion Tech. “Alternative energy is a growing field. As the need grows, we need skilled engineering techs to meet the needs of tomorrow’s workforce. We value and appreciate the donation from Blossom Solar.”
Because the fund is endowed, it will provide support for eligible students for generations to come.
