Ryan McCall

Ryan McCall, Ph.D.
President

Dr. McCall serves as Marion Technical College’s President and has been with MTC since 2016. Prior to joining MTC, Ryan spent nine years at Southern State Community College in Hillsboro, Ohio, in various roles including Dean of Students, Director of South Campus, and Vice President for Academic Affairs. He also taught Human Biology on an adjunct basis. Dr. McCall earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education from Ohio University, an M.S. degree from Morehead State University, and a B.S. from Shawnee State University.

Amy Adams

Amy M. Adams, Ph.D.
Executive Vice President

Dr. Amy Adams joined MTC in 2016 and provides leadership, vision and operational oversight for the departments of Academic Affairs, Enrollment Services, Institutional Advancement, Marketing & Communications, Student Success & Engagement, and Workforce Solutions.

Previously, Amy spent 16 years at a private university in Columbus, Ohio, in various roles including university registrar, director of institutional research and assessment, and associate vice president for enrollment. Amy earned her Ph.D. in higher education from Ohio University, an M.Ed. Degree from Northern Arizona University, and a B.S. from The Ohio State University.

Bob Haas

Robert Haas, Ph.D.
Chief Strategy Officer

Dr. Bob Haas is MTC’s, Chief Strategy Officer. Previously, he served as the Dean of Institutional Effectiveness and has been with the college since 2001. He has taught courses in IT, business management, and statistics. Before joining MTC, Bob spent 25 years in the electronics, computer, and internet business in the private sector. Dr. Haas has earned his Ph.D. from the University of Toledo, M.A. from the University of Phoenix, and a B.A. from Ohio Northern University.

Rhonda Ward

Rhonda Ward, M.B.A.
Vice President of Business Affairs/CFO & Board Treasurer

Rhonda has 22 years of experience in public and private higher education.  She has held many administrative positions, most recently serving as the Controller for Wittenberg University.  Her experience provides support in a variety of areas.

Laura Woughter

Laura Woughter
Chief of Staff & Government Relations Officer

Laura Woughter joined Marion Tech in 2017 and serves as the Chief of Staff & Government Relations Officer. In addition to those roles, Laura is Marion Tech’s Accreditation Liaison Officer, managing the College’s institutional accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission. Prior to joining Marion Tech, Laura worked as a Senior Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate and was a legislative fellow through the Legislative Service Commission’s Fellowship Program. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English from the Ohio State University.

Stacie Campbell

Stacie Campbell
Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs/CAO

Dr. Stacie Campbell has been with Marion Technical College (MTC) since 2015. She served as the Dean of Nursing before moving into her current role as the Associate Vice President of Academics and Chief Academic Officer. During her tenure, Dr. Campbell was instrumental in implementing MTC’s RN to BSN program. She has taught courses in nursing simulation, nursing labs, nursing lectures, clinical settings, and healthcare informatics. Dr. Campbell has coordinated the Advanced Standing program, which includes pathways for LPNs, Military Medics, and Paramedics to transition to RN. She brings extensive experience in the nursing field, specializing in medical-surgical care and long-term memory care.

Kristy Taylor

Kristy Taylor
Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services

Kristy Taylor is the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services at Marion Technical College, overseeing Admissions, Financial Aid, the Registrar’s Office, and Career Services. She has been a dedicated member of the MTC community since 2006 and served as College Registrar from 2017 until assuming her current role. She currently co-chairs the Rural Guided Pathways initiative, which provides students with clear and structured routes to achieve academic and career success by helping them make informed decisions and stay on track to complete their goals. She has also led policy development, process improvements, and administrative projects that enhance efficiency and compliance while maintaining a strong focus on student-centered outcomes. Kristy earned a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Tiffin University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Siena Heights University, and an Associate of Applied Business in Office Information Technology in Medical from Marion Technical College.

Laura Emmerick

Laura Emmerick
Associate Vice President of Student Success & Engagement/CSAO

Laura joined MTC in March 2018. She currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Success & Engagement. In this role, Laura oversees academic advising, new student orientation, first-year experience, testing services, tutoring, and student life, and she is involved in state and college-wide initiatives related to student success and retention. She has worked in higher education since 2005. Her previous experience includes academic advising, career services, first-year experience, and admissions at public universities, and she has also taught career planning and first-year experience courses. Laura earned a Master of Arts in Student Development in Postsecondary Education from the University of Iowa, a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from St. Cloud State University. She is currently working on her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Practice and Leadership – Higher Education at the University of North Dakota.
