Course Description:
The student will learn about the profession of physical therapy including its current and historical role within the health care system. Topics covered include the roles of the PT, PTA, and Aide; standards of practice; evidence-based practice; communication; diversity; and the legal and ethical delivery of physical therapy services. Semester Credit Hours: 2 (2 hrs lecture). Prerequisites: None.
