Rachel Darby, RHIT, CCS

Biography

Rachel has been an adjunct at MTC for the last several years. She joins MTC full-time from Avita Health System, where she worked for over 10 years. Rachel is credentialed through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS). 

Rachel has worked as a professional coder for 5 years. In 2013, she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology from MTC. 

Rachel is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration and Health Information Management at Southern New Hampshire University.
