Earn an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree by attending class one evening per week. The MTC Criminal Justice Adult Student Accelerated Program (ASAP) offers a new and unique way for working adults to fit earning a college degree into their busy lives. Adults who earn an associate degree typically earn a higher salary and have greater opportunity for professional advancement.

Students selected for the Criminal Justice ASAP will take classes with the same group of students (i.e. a cohort) for the entire program. By attending class one evening per week and completing coursework online, students earn an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Experienced faculty teach the curriculum one course at a time in an interactive, team-based learning environment.

Respiratory Care Program – NOW AVAILABLE!
MTC has joined forces with Rhodes State College in Lima to create a Respiratory Care Associate Degree program. This two-year program is a blend of respiratory care technical courses from Rhodes State College, general education courses at Marion Technical College, and clinical experiences close to home at a health care institution within the MTC region.

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, median annual earnings of salary respiratory therapy technicians were $39,120 in May 2006. The middle 50 percent earned between $32,050 and $46,930. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $25,940, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $56,220. This is a growing field and training is hard to find in the Marion area! To learn more, contact Deb Bates at 740-389-4636 x. 254
