Laurie Vent, M.Ed.

Biography

Laurie spent 36 years in public education, serving as a teacher, principal, and superintendent during that time. She was at Fostoria City Schools for her first three years and Upper Sandusky E. V. Schools for the other 33.  Laurie retired in Jan. 2021 to have more time with family. She has been married to Charlie for 40 years and they have 4 grown children (triplet daughters and a son) and 7 grandchildren. They live on a beef and grain farm in Wyandot County. Laurie likes to stay busy so that is how she got convinced to work part-time for MTC Workforce Solutions as well as serving on the Wyandot County Community Foundation Board and the Upper Sandusky Rotary Board.
