Greg Perry, Esq.

Biography

Attorney Greg Perry is the director of MTC’s law and criminal justice programs. Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree, Cum Laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1992. He attained his Juris Doctor degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1995. He started teaching at MTC in 2006 as an adjunct professor in the law enforcement program and became a full-time faculty member in 2013. Before joining MTC, Greg spent 20 years in law enforcement, including 17 as a criminal prosecutor and three years as a detective and deputy sheriff. He has been a licensed Ohio attorney since 1995 and a fully sworn peace officer since 2004. He has been an OPOTA-Certified Legal Instructor since 1999, a Master Criminal Investigator since 2009, and a certified Tactical Officer since 2015. Greg also serves as the commander of the MTC Peace Officer Basic Training Academy. In 2019, Greg received the Ohio Attorney General’s Ohio Distinguished Law Enforcement Training Award.
