Michael Augenstein

Biography

Mike worked in the utilities industry for 22 years, first for the local telephone company (Frontier/Verizon/GTE), and Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative before joining MTC in 2019. Mike attended classes on the Marion Campus earning his Associate of Business Administration from The Ohio State University in 1999. Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2006 and his Master of Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2008. Mike’s office is located on the second floor at Marion Tech Downtown (107 N. Main St. Marion, OH 43302). He built his home on the family farm outside of Waldo and enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, farming, and gardening. Mike is also a Waldo Township Trustee. Community and local business growth are a strong passion of Mike’s and he enjoys working with businesses, organizations, and individuals to help them get to NEXT.
