The decision to invest and support this is a ‘no-brainer.’ This program is such a novel and creative idea and an investment in enriching the students. Players have played multiple games including League of Legends, Rocket League, and Overwatch. With this new support, Marion Tech will be hiring a full-time coach for the Esports team. “We appreciate Pillar Credit Union’s investment into our students. This will help create a richer opportunity for our students,” said Dr. Ryan McCall, president of Marion Tech. With more than 2,200 students, Marion Tech educates a wide cross section of students. “There’s nothing else like that around here. It includes all ages and genders.
