  • Please check-in at each building or online prior to entering a building. Beginning August 4, masks are required for all Marion Tech students, employees, and visitors on campus due to the substantial spread of COVID (as defined by the CDC).

I need to send a printed document to MTC electronically. How can I do so?

If you do not have a scanner at home, a solution would be to use your mobile phone’s camera and an app to convert an image of a document into a shareable PDF. One such app is Genius Scan, available for iOS and Android devices. You can download Genius Scan for free and optionally unlock a paid upgrade if you want to do so:

How can I access my voicemail messages off-campus?

Employees can access voice messages by following these steps:

  1. Dial 740-725-7000
  2. Enter extension followed by the #
  3. Enter password followed by the #

If you haven’t set up a password…

  1. On your MTC phone Press *17
  2. Enter your Extension followed by #

The system will prompt you to create a password at that time.


I have work-related or personal travel plans. Is travel permitted?

In response to Governor DeWine’s guidance and recommendations to Ohio Public Colleges regarding the COVID-19 virus in Ohio,  MTC is suspending all college-sponsored out-of-state travel and evaluating in-state travel on a case-by-case basis.  Personal vacations and/or personal in-state or out-of-state travel are not limited or controlled by MTC, but we will ask anyone who travels outside of their normal area to check in with the local health department before returning to campus.
