Lindsey Knapp, Ph.D. Anatomy & Physiology Faculty Biography Originally from Ohio, Lindsey is happy to be closer to home after spending 6 years in Atlanta, Georgia where she earned her Doctorate in Biochemistry, Cell, and Developmental Biology at Emory University in 2019. During her studies, she taught several biology lectures and labs and served as the Lead Instructor for Introductory Biology Labs at Emory University. Lindsey’s graduate work focused on the development of the inner ear focusing on the molecular consequences of mutations that impair hearing. Since graduating, she has worked as a Genetic Variant Curator at Otogenetics Corporation and a Visiting Instructor at OSU-Lima teaching a variety of biology classes. Lindsey enjoys walking by the lake, kayaking, running, and spending time with her dog (Louie) and boyfriend (Craig). She also really enjoys a good latte.
