Bonnie Hemp, M.B.A., RHIA

Health Information Technologies Professor


Professor Hemp serves as a faculty member in the Health Information Technology Program and has been with MTC since 2015. Prior to joining MTC, Bonnie spent 20 years working in Health Information Management and Quality Management at acute care hospitals in Toledo and Oregon, Ohio. She started her career in Health Information Management education at Mercy College of NW Ohio, and served as Chair of the Associate of Science Degree Program in Health Information Technology at Owens Community College for 11 years where she also designed and implemented associate degrees in Medical Assisting and Cancer Information Management. Bonnie has a MBA with a health care management concentration from the University of Findlay, and a B.S. majoring in health care administration from Heidelberg University. She is also a Registered Health Information Administrator.
