Are all campus events being canceled?

Yes, at this time all events scheduled during the response plan period have been canceled or postponed. Many events will be rescheduled at later dates. Please check with event organizers, and revisit the MTC website for updates on events as information becomes available.

Are visitors allowed on campus?

Hours Starting August 31 will be Monday – Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 4 pm.

Is MTC taking extra steps to enhance campus hygiene and cleaning?

Yes. To minimize exposure, campus offices will be closed to visitors until further notice. MTC has also implemented extensive and frequent cleaning practices on campus, with hand sanitizer available in many locations on campus. We will continue to educate employees and visitors on effective preventive measures such as physical distancing and more frequent hand washing. We remain in direct communication with local and state officials to closely monitor any modifications we need to make to our plans. 

 

Can I still talk with Admissions about applying to MTC?

Yes. All admissions staff are currently working remotely, but we won’t let that slow you down. You can discover the programs we offer, how to enroll, and discuss the financial aid process with an admissions representative via phone. I’ve never taken classes online. What is it like?

MTC has developed Free Sample Courses that you can try to “test drive” the online learning experience. Online course options at MTC include both synchronous and asynchronous courses.

 

How can I stay up to date on what MTC is doing?

Refer to mtc.edu/covid-19 frequently for the latest updates and information on MTC’s responsive action plan. Students and employees should also check email for frequent updates.
