July 30th – Special Board Meeting at 5:30PM to discuss the lease of a building for public purposes. In accordance with the best practices concerning COVID-19 and authorization by the state, the Marion Technical College Board of Trustees will hold its July 21st Board meeting virtually. As authorized by the legislature, all normal meeting requirements (quorum, voting, resolutions, minutes, executive session, etc.) shall be adhered to. This meeting is still open to the public, in accordance with ORC 121.22, and individuals may join by phone by calling +1-646-876-9923 and entering the meeting ID (939-8161-3201) when prompted.

As the governing body of Marion Technical College, the Board of Trustees represents a host of diverse organizations throughout the college’s service area.  All Board meetings are open to the public, and scheduled meeting days and times can be found below.

Want to address the Board?
Any person, other than Board members or MTC administrative officers, who would like to address the Board, must request approval at least 14 days before the Board meeting, in accordance with the MTC Board of Trustees Bylaws. The request must be made in writing to the MTC President and must state the purpose of your address.

  • April 23, 2020 at 6:00 PM – Emergency Board meeting to discuss the application for federal paycheck protection program through the Small Business Administration and to vote on the submission of the application.
    • In accordance with the state’s declaration of emergency and stay at home orders in response to COVID-19, the Marion Technical College Board of Trustees will hold its April 23rd emergency Board meeting virtually. As authorized by the legislature, all normal meeting requirements (quorum, voting, resolutions, minutes, executive session, etc.) shall be adhered to.
