MTC is included on the bus routes of the Marion Area Transit (MAT) System.M.A.T. has expanded their system, and the first pick-up of the day is 8:00 a.m. and the last ingoing bus is at 4:00 p.m.. They also have Advance Service, or "special" bus. That run begins at 6:00 a.m. and last pick-up is 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If a person needs the special bus M.A.T. requires a 3 day advance notice to reserve the bus, and with a student fee, which is half price the fee is $1.20. (They don't make change)
A student pass is $15.00 per month.
The 8-4 bus sometimes runs behind, but the advanced service is punctual and reliable. For pick-up on campus, special needs or information call the dispatcher at 382-9850. |
