Marion Technical College Welcomes (Back) New Chief Financial Officer
February 24, 2014 — Marion, Ohio — Marion Technical College (MTC) is pleased to announce the recent addition of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to our family. After an extensive search, Jeff Nutter accepted the position as Chief Financial Officer.
Nutter is a Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master of Business Administration from Franklin University.
Nutter came to MTC from his recent position at Ohio Wesleyan University where he served as a Financial Analysis and Reporting Manager. Prior to that he was employed by Smith Clinic as the Controller.
Nutter is no stranger to Marion Technical College. He was the controller at the College from 2001-2008. “I’m excited to be back at Marion Technical College. I learned a lot during my time away and I’m anxious to apply those things in my new role as Chief Financial Officer. Marion is home, so it feels great to serve my own community,” Nutter said.
Prior to MTC Jeff worked in public accounting for approximately ten years. While working in public accounting Jeff specialized in providing accounting, auditing and consulting services to not-for-profit organizations.
Nutter lives in Marion with his wife Tracy and their two children Jillian and Ethan.
We are excited to have Nutter at the College in his new role.
