Steve Duvall
Professor |
Steve Duvall coordinates MTC’s Software Development course. Steve has worked as a software developer in both the private and public sectors. He holds a master’s degree in Computer Information Technology with a dual emphasis in Object-Oriented Technologies and Management of Technology from Regis University. In addition, Steve has earned Microsoft certifications in software development, networking, and database technologies. His current certifications include the MCP, MCAD, MCSA, MCTS, MCDBA, MCPD, MCSD, and MCSE. |

- Create software applications using Visual Basic and C# that utilize standard Windows controls, database access, and structured error handling
- Create ASP .NET Web applications that allow users to create, retrieve, update, and delete data stored in a database.
- Design and implement a database (including triggers, stored procedures, and views) using Microsoft® SQL Server.
- Review material related to Microsoft® MCTS certification exams

Admission |
- MTC Application for Admission and nonrefundable applicable fee.
- Final high school transcript [or GED results] and college transcripts [if applicable].
- Completion of the Basic Skills Assessment [COMPASS] is required. Any Foundation Courses suggested by COMPASS results are highly recommended.
