Networking Certificate

The curriculum is comprised of computer, networking, security, and Microsoft® server courses.

Students will gain computer skills involving network structure, computer security, and server administration.


What am I expected to learn?

Successfully configure a small- to mid-size network.  Install and configure network and workstation operating systems.  Secure network communications and resources.  Configure physical network infrastructure.  Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, and network communications problems. 

Students who complete this curriculum are prepared to sit for following external certification exam:

Admission Standard

  1. MTC Application for Admission and nonrefundable applicable fee.

  2. High school transcript (or GED results) and college transcripts (if applicable).

  3. Successful completion of the Basic Skills Assessment ACT or Accuplacer and Technology Skills Test (TST) is required. Students also have the option to complete College Foundation courses.
