Computer Networking Courses
MCTS, MCP, MCSA, MCSE |
Computer Networking courses prepare students to manage the “back-office” network functions in a small- to mid-sized company. The curriculum includes an introductory and Networking courses that are taught in a hands-on learning lab where students get direct experience working with networking equipment.

Mike Cotterman:
Mike is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), holds an associate degree in IT from Marion Technical College, and is completing a bachelor degree at Franklin University. He has worked in a variety of IT positions in private industry. Mike teaches Microsoft and Network security courses. |
Steve Duvall:
Steve holds a master’s degree in Computer Information Technology with a dual emphasis in Object-Oriented Technologies and Management of Technology from Regis University, a bachelor degree from Excelsior College, and an associate degree from Marion Technical College. In addition, Steve has earned Microsoft certifications in software development, networking, and database technologies. His current certifications include the MCP, MCAD, MCSA, MCTS, MCDBA, MCPD, MCSD, and MCSE |
Students who successfully complete Computer Networking Courses will learn to:
- Build and configure a small- to mid-size network.
- Work with Microsoft ® security and file/folder permissions
- Install and administer a Microsoft ® Server
- Set up domains, active directory, groups, and users
- Prepare for Microsoft ® certification exams
