Wait List & Stand-by List
Wait List:
a list of students who have applied to a Nursing class that is at 90% or more capacity. The students on this list will compete for entry into the class based on their most current accumulative grade point average, ACT composite score over 21, and general education coursework completed toward the degree. Those students not accepted into the wait listed class are generally accepted into the following year’s class.
Stand-By List:
a list of 35 students chosen in the spring to replace any student who drops out of the upcoming fall class. The selections are made from the students accepted into the following year’s class. The students will be chosen based on their most current accumulative grade point average, ACT composite score over 21, and general education coursework completed toward the degree. The list is ranked in order of entry. Any student who accepts a seat off the stand-by list forfeits his or her seat in the following year’s class. A student is not required to accept a seat off the stand-by list and will remain in the following year’s class. |
