Biography

Helen Guinther serves as Professor of Nursing Technology and has been with MTC since 2003. She is a First and Second Year Clinical Instructor. Prior to joining MTC, Helen worked at Marion General Hospital for 15 years. She was a charge nurse on a Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. She was then the Supervisor of Surgical Services at MGH. In addition, Helen also worked for Med Central in Mansfield in the outpatient surgical areas as a staff nurse and supervisor. Helen is a graduate of Marion Technical College’s Nursing program. She also attended The University of Phoenix and received a BSN and MSN from there programs. In addition, Helen also holds a BSPA in Health Administration from St. Joseph’s College and a certification in Medical Surgical Nursing from the American Nursing Credentialing Center.
