Marion Technical College’s Engineering Technologies programs are driven by the needs expressed by advisory committee members representing area industries, and are tailored to meet these needs. The results are hands-on, career-oriented programs which not only prepare graduates to apply engineering knowledge efficiently, but give them the specific skills that are foremost in current job-market demand. In addition, all programs have a cooperative work experience
component to allow students to gain additional skills and experience.
MTC’s Associate of Applied Science and Associate of Technical Studies degrees in Engineering Technologies are designed for students who wish to earn an Associate’s degree and then go into the workforce. Many of the courses in our programs are TAG, CTAG or OTM eligible if you later wish to transfer credits to a university to continue your education. Please see your advisor, the Ohio Board of Regents website or MTC’s approved course list for more information on TAG, CTAG and OTM eligible courses.
