JAY L. MCCREARY is Executive Director of the Center for Workforce Development and Dean of Engineering Technologies at Marion Technical College, Marion, Ohio where he is responsible for all of the services provided to business and industry and Engineering Technology Credit Courses. He holds a B.S. in Microbiology and an M.A. in Adult Education from The Ohio State University. A veteran of more than 30 years of educational experience, he has taught at the secondary school level, the college level, and through his own consulting business facilitates strategic planning sessions, designs and implements organizational development strategies and presents seminars nationally on the subjects of total quality management, learning theories, management development, team building, leadership, creative thinking, problem solving, and brain dominance.

He was listed in the 1987 edition of Marquis' Who's Who in Midwest America, and in the 1988 and 1992 editions of Who's Who in Emerging Leaders in America. Jay is certified by SHL, Pearson-Reid, VUE, Brainbench, Pan, Sterling and NOCTI to provide assessment tests and Job Profiles. He is a certified facilitator for Achieve-Global, DDI, Vision Point, and Inscape Products including Targeted Selection ® . Jay is also a member of Vision Point’s Elite Training Team. He is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development, Past-President of the Ohio Continuing Higher Education Association, and a member of numerous advisory boards in the Marion area and across the state of Ohio.
