We are so excited that you’re enrolled at MTC! Here are some campus resources that you may need.
Bookstore & Library
You can buy and sell textbooks online with our virtual bookstore. Some students prefer to buy or rent books from other retailers like Amazon, Ebay, BookRenter, and more.
We also have an excellent free resource right on campus at the Marion Campus Library. It is part of The Ohio State University Library and the OhioLINK systems and the total library collection includes more than 5.5 million volumes.
We provide students, alumni, and community members with online career planning, job matching, resume posting services, career planning assistance, and interview coaching through MTC Works! Everyone needs a career strategy. Learn more about how we can help you build yours.
Staying active helps you stay productive and successful. From intramural sports to student clubs and organizations, there’s something for everyone at MTC.

Student Resource Center
You have access to tutoring, advising, counseling, and mentoring services through our Student Resource Center (SRC). Placement and make-up testing also take place in the SRC throughout the school year. The SRC is the perfect place to study on your own or with a group of classmates. There are comfortable rooms with study materials and audiovisual equipment, plus occasional workshops on time management and study skills.
Tutors, lab technicians, and a licensed mental health counselor work in the SRC and can provide you with tutoring, advising, counseling, and mentoring services. The SRC staff is dedicated to helping you achieve academic success and is well connected with local agencies that can provide more in-depth services.
Office of Disabilities
The SRC also houses the Office of Disabilities and will advocate on students’ behalf for reasonable accommodations for physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities. If you have a disability, please contact the SRC Director, Mike Stuckey, before you start classes at MTC, or as soon as possible.
