Your Degree

We offer two options for medical assisting credentials: a certificate and an associate’s degree. You can earn a medical assisting certificate in just two semesters and your credits can also apply toward an associate’s degree.

With our full medical assisting program, you can earn your associate’s degree in two years. After graduating, you’ll receive an Associate of Technical Studies Degree.

After completing either of our medical assisting programs, you may take the American Association of Medical Assistants exam to become a certified medical assistant and the American Medical Technologists exam to become a registered medical assistant.

What You’ll Learn

Our instructors will teach you how to schedule patients, organize medical records, and enter patient data in a practice management system. You’ll also learn to perform patient screening, prepare a sterile field, provide CPR, calculate medication dosages, and assist the provider with patient exams.
