MTC Announces Four New Certificates
Marion Technical College announces 4 new certificate programs this academic year for those looking to jump-start a career or add new skills and certifications to their resume. These are new one year, or two semester, technical certificates. An external certification exam is available upon completion of the program to add to your resume while continuing with the requirements for an associate’s degree.

The Office Information Certificate is now called Office Administration Certificate; and, the Mechatronics Technician Certificate Level I is now called Robotics Certificate.
“In today’s workforce, employers need people with specialized training; MTC’s certificate options provide students skills to gain employment to stay competitive,” said Dr. Vicky Wood, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer of MTC. “At $170 a credit hour, certificates are an affordable option for students who want to update their skills for employment and the credits apply toward an associate’s degree.”
