If you have already applied for General Admission to MTC, here is what you'll want to do next:

Access Your MTC Email Account

As an applicant, you now have access to MTC's online services, which includes a free MTC email account. It's important that you set-up your MTC email account as soon as possible because you will be sent important updates and news from MTC faculty and administrators. For example, if you are placed on a waitlist when you register for classes, you will be notified via your MTC email account if a spot in the class opens up for you. To set-up your email account, you can watch the brief tutorial below or follow the written instructions.

  • Go to www.mtc.edu.
  • Click on My MTC, which is located toward the top right-hand corner of the page.
  • Click on My Mail, which is located toward the top-center of the page.
  • Enter your User Name and initial Password. Your User Name is your last name, first initial and the last four digits of your student ID number (your student ID number will be sent to you in the mail; if you'd like to get it now, call or email our IT Help Desk). Your initial password is upper case first letter of your last name, lower case first letter of your first name, last four digits of your social security number (SSN).
    • For example, Jane Doe's SSN is 987-65-4321.
    • Her initial password would be Dj4321
    • You will be required to change your password the first time you log in.

Check Your Application Status

Feel free to check your General Admission application status online by logging into your My Info account. To do so, watch the tutorial below or follow the written instructions.

  • Go to www.mtc.edu.
  • Click on My MTC, which is located toward the top right-hand corner of the page.
  • Click on My Info, which is located toward the top-center of the page.
  • On the left side of the page, enter the User Name and your new Password that you created when setting up your MTC email account.
  • Click on the "Application Status" link embedded in the "Home" tab.

Complete Remaining Steps to Enroll

Although you've already applied for General Admission (1 step completed—way to go!), make sure that you have completed all of the remaining 5 Steps to Enroll listed here. Keep in mind that Limited Enrollment Programs (LEP) have additional admission requirements.
