Community Involvement
In addition to support from partner schools and local businesses, College Tech Prep relies on and welcomes the involvement of community organizations. Representatives from groups such as Jobs and Family Services, Chamber of Commerce and 4-H serve on the Tech Prep Executive Board and help guide the program, fostering student interest in higher education and jobs that require technical and college training. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community to help students achieve their goals.
