The Program

Earn an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice degree by attending class one evening per week. The MTC Criminal Justice Adult Student Accelerated Program (ASAP) offers a new and unique way for working adults to fit earning a college degree into their busy lives. Adults who earn an associate degree typically earn a higher salary and have greater opportunity for professional advancement.

Students selected for the Criminal Justice ASAP will take classes with the same group of students (i.e. a cohort) for the entire program. By attending class one evening per week and completing coursework online, students earn an associate degree in Criminal Justice. Experienced faculty teach the curriculum one course at a time in an interactive, team-based learning environment. Courses include Drugs and Narcotics, Interviewing and Interrogation, Criminology, Criminalists, Gangs and Terrorism, Constitutional Law, and other criminal justice and general education courses.
