High school juniors and seniors must meet the following general admission requirements to be admitted into the PSEO/Concurrent Enrollment Program.
- Meet the high school's deadline for participation by informing your high school of your PSEO plans. Many schools require notification by March 30 of the year you plan to participate.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. High school juniors should possess an accumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher and the maturity to manage college life.

- Complete all sections of the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) successfully prior to enrollment.
- Submit an MTC Application for Admission, PSEO Participation form and application fee along with a copy of your high school transcript to the MTC Office of Admission by the recommended deadline.
High school freshman and sophomores should contact the Admission Office to discuss admission requirements. Only highly motivated, mature students with outstanding academic ability should consider PSEO.
PSEO Option A or Concurrent Enrollment: (any quarter, including summer) The Concurrent Enrollment Program allows qualified high school students the opportunity to earn MTC college credit, which may be transferred to other colleges and universities.
Concurrent Enrollment or PSEO Option A offers the same opportunities as the PSEO Option B, except for the following:

- You generally receive college credit only, although the school may grant dual credit at your request.
- You may enroll Summer Quarter classes in addition to other quarters throughout the year.
- Brush-up or Foundation Courses may be selected if desired.
To be eligible, students must meet specific admission requirements. However, some flexibility may be granted for Brush-Up Courses.
