Are You Planning To Graduate This Spring?
If you are planning to graduate in Spring Quarter 2008, please remember to complete the following three steps:
Before registering for your final quarter of attendance, meet with your advisor to ensure you have completed all requirements for your degree or certificate.
Complete a petition for graduation in the Office of Student Records, Room 106, or if you received one in the mail please fill it out and mail it in.
Meet all financial obligations to the College including attending an exit interview if you have received any moneys through Stafford Student Loans.
Since most students graduate at the end of spring quarter each year, a special mailing is sent to potential graduates based upon number of credit hours earned for those receiving associate degrees. This mailing includes a petition for graduation, a career placement form, and an information sheet explaining the spring graduation ceremony.
Students who do not receive a packet in the mail may pick one up in the Office of Student Records beginning January 28, 2008. Students who wish to attend the graduation ceremony and receive their diplomas at the ceremony must return their petitions by the February 11, 2008 deadline. For those students not participating in the ceremony the deadline is June 13, 2008.
Students receiving certificates will not receive an information packet. They should simply complete a petition at the Office of Student Records, or if you received one in the mail please fill it out and mail it in.
Do you have access to e-mail services? If so, you may e-mail your graduation information to the Office of Student Records, at wisemanw@mtc.edu.
Just remember that all deadline dates still apply. |
