Your PIN number will allow you to electronically sign your FAFSA.  If you are dependent, your parents will also need a PIN number.  Also use this site to have your PIN re-sent to you.

MTC school code is 010736.  Deadline for completion is 30 days prior to fee payment deadline.  Applications completed after the deadline may not be processed until after the quarter begins. 
FAFSA results will automatically be forwarded for State grants for applications processed before the State deadline of October 1.

Application deadline is June 1 for each academic year.

You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) confirmation from the U.S. Department of Education.   You will also receive notification of eligibility or a request for additional information from the Financial Aid Office.  If the College requests additional information, return it within 2 weeks.  When all information has been received, processed and is correct, you will receive a notification of eligibility.

To be eligible for a loan you must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.  We must have your FAFSA results and you must be enrolled before your loan application will be processed.  Applications submitted late may not be processed until after the quarter begins.

Once you receive notification of eligibility, you must go online and accept your awards.  This is not done automatically.  After you accept your awards, they will be applied to your student account.  This means your financial aid (all grants, scholarships and loans) will be credited toward your tuition.  If your aid does not cover your total charges you will need to pay the balance or make arrangements by the fee payment deadline.  If you have excess monies, you will receive a credit at the bookstore to purchase your books.  All schedule changes and bookstore purchases need to be completed by the 2nd day of the quarter.  If you have money remaining after tuition/fees and books/supplies have been paid, a refund check will be sent to you 15 days after the quarter begins.
