Scholarship Information
If you wish to be considered for MTC Scholarships, this scholarship application, along with the FAFSA, must be completed by June 1. These scholarships are various amounts and are for Fall, Winter and Spring quarters. For a complete listing, see Financial Aid Resources below.

Selection of Foundation, President's, and College Tech Prep Scholarship recipients will be made by high school officials and reported to MTC by June 1. Eligibility is certified after the student's first semester, senior-year grades are posted. There is no limit to the number of students who may qualify for these scholarships. However, scholarships are limited to one per student. Each scholarship is for one year and will be credited to the recipient's tuition charges each quarter of the academic year. Scholarships will pay the difference between the total tuition and fees and the amount of the other financial assistance (up to the maximum scholarship amount). The HOPE "Scholarship" is actually a tax credit available to eligible students during their first two years of post-secondary education. The tax credit covers all of the first $1,000 of tuition and fees that student’s pay and one half of the second $1,000 during the qualified period.
