The Nursing Program at Marion Technical College is currently seeking qualified applicants who are interested in a community faculty position for the upcoming Winter Quarter. Marion Technical College is located at 1467 Mt. Vernon Avenue in Marion Ohio. Community, or adjunct, faculty are those people who are hired under a quarterly contract to teach for a specified academic quarter. MTC relies heavily on the expertise of people in the community to teach classes in Business, Engineering, Health, Nursing and Public Service Technologies.
Minimum qualifications include: Must have a current Ohio RN license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing preferred, plus 2 years experience as an RN.
Course Description: Provide off-campus clinical nursing instruction to a First Year Clinical group of 10 students at a Marion, Delaware or Columbus facility. Hours are 7 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursdays and Fridays. Orientation hours will be paid in addition to regular pay. Faculty mentoring will be provided.
