The Office of Career Services is committed to:
- Educate, motivate, and assist students and alumni to make career decisions and to assist them in making contacts with potential employers in order to maximize life potential.
- Assist students and alumni to investigate and make excellent transfer decisions/actions.
- Maintain exceptional relations with employers and Colleges/Universities by providing them with qualified students and alumni.
- Provide a valuable resource to assist MTC in the economic development and overall commitment to our North-Central Ohio communities.

Career Planning
The Office of Career Services provides a career planning program to help you make important educational and occupational decisions. As a student or potential student interested in exploring career fields and setting career goals, you should first contact the Office of Career Services to schedule a career counseling appointment. If you are undecided about a career direction, you may complete a career interest inventory. This service is open to students and the public at a nominal fee. Other information and online services available include the e-Discover Career and College System, which you can access through this site.A variety of assistance is available through the Office of Career Services, including:
- Career and transfer counseling and information.
- Strong interest inventory and interpretation sessions.
- On-line e-Discover career testing, occupational and college services.
- Occupation and career on-line links menu.
- Career library of career planning, and occupational literature.
- Employer files and Ohio college catalogs.
- Career decision making credit courses.
Job Search Services
The final reward for your years of education is locating a career position in your chosen field after graduation. You will need to know about completing job applications, interviewing techniques, performing a job search and the labor market in general if you are to achieve this goal. Although the College cannot guarantee you a job, the Office of Career Services can assist you. Some of the services provided by the office include resume development, job search workshops, on-campus interviews and job opening announcements.As a student, or alumnus you are encouraged to use the on-line e-Connect Jobs Board and resume posting features provided on this site. When kept up-to-date, MTC's on-line services and resume posting enables the College to continue to offer career services to alumni for many years after graduation. Employers e-Connect
