More and more businesses are taking the matters of benefits and compliance
to heart, creating great entry-level positions for individuals with human resource training. In 2004, the U.S. Department of Labor reported that more than 820,000 individuals held jobs revolving around human resources-related
activities and concerns. Nationally, opportunities in this diverse field are expected to increase as much as 26 percent through 2014; positions in Ohio are also expected to increase through the year 2012 in such areas as human resources assistants (15.2 percent), training specialists (22.3 percent), job analysts (24.9 percent), recruiters (18.2 percent), payroll clerks (1.1 percent), and H.R. managers (13.5 percent).

| Program Admission: |
To be admitted into the Human Resource Management associate degree program at MTC, you must complete the following admission criteria:
- MTC Application for Admission and nonrefundable applicable fee.
- Final high school transcript (or GED results) and college transcripts (if applicable).
- Successful completion of the Basic Skills Assessment (COMPASS) and Technology Skills Test is required. Any College foundation courses suggested by COMPASS results are highly recommended.
