discuss admission procedures, financial aid, career planning,
choice of major, etc. Day or evening appointments
are available by calling 740.389.4636, or pre-register online
by going to the home page and selecting a Welcome Session that fits your needs.
* Application Submit or apply online at this site a completed Application for Admission and a $20 Application Fee to the Office of Admission. Although there is no formal deadline, you should submit your application at least three months prior to your intended starting date. In addition, you should submit an official highschool transcript, GED results, and college transcripts (if applicable).
ACT Scores are required for program admission to Nursing,
Medical Laboratory Sciences, Human and Social Services,
and Respiratory Care. The ACT is recommended for
the Physical Therapist Assistant and Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Financial Aid
Apply for all of the financial aid for which you qualify. and wish to be considered. Apply early! The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form is required, apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
The college scholarship application deadline is May 1 for the following academic year.
Basic Skills Assessment(ACT or COMPASS and TST)
COMPASS testing should be completed by students prior to
seeing an advisor and selecting first term classes. Tests are
administered through the Student Resource Center (Room
183) during regular office hours. Call 740.389.4636, ext. 200,
if you have questions. The Technology Skills Test helps to
assess basic computer skills. Completion of the ACT or
previous college credit may exempt you from COMPASS.
Advising and Class Registration
The final step in the enrollment process is to meet with
your academic advisor to select your schedule of classes.
Advising/Registration is available by appointment only.
Prior to advising/registration you must:
Meet with an admission counselor/attend Welcome Session.
Complete ACT or COMPASS and Technology Skills Test (TST)
for course placement (may be waived for transfer students).
Submit application for admission.
