TRANSFERING CREDITS

House Bill 95 established the Transfer Assurance Guide, which guarantees Ohio college students and graduates their credits will transfer from one public institution to another. A Transfer Assurance Guide, (TAG), course is unique in that it has been matched to a set of learning outcomes in a specific academic subject area. Approved TAG courses carry the guarantee that the courses and their credits will transfer and apply toward the major at any of Ohio’s public institutions of higher education, provided they were taken when the courses were equivalent. MTC has over 40 TAG courses approved thus far. For more information, click here.
